Refunds & Cancellations

At TourMyHoliday, we are committed to delivering exceptional travel experiences across India and beyond. We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly, which is why we have crafted a transparent, fair, and easy-to-understand refund and cancellation policy. Please read this policy carefully before making your booking.

1. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

To ensure your refund request is processed quickly and accurately, all cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Verbal or phone-only cancellations are not accepted as they cannot be officially recorded or tracked.

  • Send your written cancellation request to: info@tourmyholiday.com
  • Include your full name, booking reference number, travel dates, and reason for cancellation.
  • Our team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
  • Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method (bank account, UPI, or card) within 7–10 working days.

Please note: Payment gateway charges, bank processing fees, and applicable taxes are non-refundable in all cases.

2. Cancellation & Refund Timeline

The refund amount you are eligible for depends on how far in advance you cancel before your departure date:

Advance Payment Policy

  • The advance payment made at the time of booking is strictly non-refundable.
  • This amount is used to block hotels, vehicles, permits, and other travel arrangements in advance.
  • No refund will be provided in case of cancellation, no-show, or personal reasons.
  • Travellers are advised to confirm their plans carefully before making the advance payment.

No Rescheduling Policy

  • Bookings confirmed with advance payment are not eligible for rescheduling.
  • Change of travel dates or destination after confirmation is not permitted.
  • If a traveller is unable to travel on the scheduled date, the booking will be treated as cancelled.
  • Guests are advised to plan properly and consider travel insurance for unforeseen situations.

3. Special Conditions & Category-Specific Refund Rules

Different categories of travel services may have additional or stricter refund terms based on the nature of advance arrangements made on your behalf:

Adventure Activities & Trekking Bookings for treks, camping, and adventure activities involve early resource allocation (guides, equipment, permits). These are partially refundable, subject to the standard timeline above and vendor terms.

Fixed Departure Group Tours: Seats reserved in fixed departure tours may be subject to stricter, group-level refund policies. Please confirm the exact terms at the time of booking.

Peak Season & Festival Bookings Bookings made for travel during major holidays — including Diwali, Christmas, New Year, and other peak seasons — may have limited or no refund availability due to high demand and pre-committed vendor reservations.

Helicopter & Flight Services Refund eligibility for helicopter tickets and flight bookings is determined entirely by the respective airline or helicopter operator's policy. TourMyHoliday will assist you in the process, but cannot override operator-level decisions.

4. Force Majeure — Cancellations Beyond Our Control

TourMyHoliday will not be liable to issue refunds for trip cancellations caused by circumstances that are beyond our reasonable control. These force majeure events include, but are not limited to:

  • Natural calamities: floods, landslides, earthquakes, and storms
  • Political unrest, government-imposed restrictions, or strikes
  • Roadblocks, transport disruptions, or border closures
  • Extreme or unseasonal weather conditions are preventing safe travel

In all such cases, we will make every effort to reschedule your trip at no additional cost or offer suitable travel alternatives. Your safety and satisfaction remain our top priority.

5. Non-Refundable Components

Regardless of when a cancellation is made, the following costs are strictly non-refundable:

  • Service charges and booking fees
  • GST and other applicable government taxes
  • Unused services once the trip has commenced (meals, sightseeing, transport, accommodation, etc.)

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations and trip interruptions.
