Kasol cannot be easily accessed by air. The nearest airport is the Kullu Manali Airport, also known as Bhuntar Airport. Bhuntar is around 30 km from Kasol and you can hire a cab or a taxi to take you from Bhuntar to Kasol, once you land at the airport.
Kasol is approximately 400+ km from Delhi. The fastest way to reach Kasol from Delhi is by Flight or bus Via Chandigarh. It takes approximately 7 hours. The cheapest way to reach Kasol from Delhi is by Bus which would take approximately 11 hours.
Joginder Nagar railway station
Kasol does not have a railway station of its own. To reach Kasol by railways you have to get off at the nearest railway station to Kasol which is Joginder Nagar railway station, about 144 km from the village of Kasol.
One can explore the best of Kasol including a hike to Chalal, Manikaran Gurudwara, and more in one day. However, in our itinerary for the Kasol Tosh weekend trip, we spend two days in the region as we also spend a night in Tosh.
